3c Nickel die clash?

    A nice clash but certainly not worth 160 bucks. Browse ebay-you should be able to get one for no additional premium over a normal coin.

    Here is a MS63 1865 3CN I bought earlier in the year. If you are still perusing the listings. There are some nice ones out there just keep looking. Most of them you find will have clash marks. I don't have the pics on my computer any longer. The coin ended up in the do not sell pile. I bought more since this one, but, raw.

    Yes because clashes between two different series should not happen. There is no reason to have dies for two different series in the press at the same time. Clashes of different series are the result of workers playing around and possibly striking dual denomination mules.
