    No objections here :angelic:.
You shouldn't have to "participate". The people you're running this for should just send you stuff ;). Better send him something @SensibleSal66 :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:.

Technically, yes. Some Santas like to wait until they have a name before they make a purchase and try to tailor their gift. So, the longer you wait to jump on board, the harder you make it for your Santa. Feel free to take this to a PM if you have any concerns I can help address.

Thank you for the invite, but in lieu of holiday presents this year, I will donate an equivalent gift to the DAV, my charity of choice - thanks to all our veterans!

Looking for anyone wishing to do a second SS this year. It seems we have interest again. Don’t message here publicly, but send me a private message!

Is there a certain place we should use to value a coin because ebay prices are all over the place and I don't think it's fair to use an auction price some sucker overpaid as reference. At this point I'm just ready to offer a silver coin at $15 melt value against my moral obligation. But the instructions did clearly state numismatic although it's not specific as to what is numismatic value vs a worn scrap coin.

The idea is to give someone a gift that you would be happy to receive. The low value set is to ensure the most amount of people can participate. If you want to spend more, feel free. But, please don’t advertise your gift, you’ll spoil the surprise!
