2019 W AMP Washington Quarter for Grading

Quit a few hits but I've seen MS65 Lowell's that seem to look much worse. Your opinions?

Welcome to Coin Talk. The US Mint is producing 2 million of these quarters. IMO you will never recover the cost of having it graded. I wouldn't send it in but it's your money. It's a nice addition to a collection.

 

I will be honest, I don't think that will make ms65, but that's only my opinion, ofcourse all of them are scratched a little. I still need the memorial park W, when prices go down, or I find it.

I'm thinking the mint did a great job with this 2019 W quarter hype. We should try a cash in before the hype ends.

 

Here is a 2019-W Lowell quarter on eBay right now that has a high bid of almost $200. PCGS MS65. I'm sure you can find similar results for the N. Mariana Islands quarter also.

That's got the first week of discovery tag on it.
I can't figure out why people pay ridiculous prices for these type of gimmicks.

 

Yeah, it's like Early Release, First Day of Release, etc. Who cares? It doesn't increase the value of the coin any. It either grades or it doesn't.

 

I'd like to find a set of these for my Dansco. but will only pay face value for them.

Nothing wrong with a 67. The surfaces are pretty nice.

I don't have a problem seeing it in a 67. Slab views can also give a different perspective of the coin.

These are a big deal right now. If it nabs a high grade, sell it immediately, while they are hot.
In time, prices will go down. 2 million is not a small mintage, and very many will be pulled and saved.
