Once 5x ebaybucks come back, 20 will be able to be had for well under $50 each . . . factoring the cash back and credit card rewards . . . just as expected the prices are creeping down ever so slowly for now, as time goes on they will have to come down lower and faster to move them. As the saying goes, patience is a virtue

 

Buying 20 today, each would be a total of $45.9 thanks to the 8% ebaybucks May 18-20 promotion we just received. This would be tempting if I didn't have EVERY REASON to think they will be able to be had for far less than $45.90 each if we are willing/able to wait long enough

 

Not planning on buying anymore, just because of the price at $54 not to investment
worthy from investment coin but still really cool and were not getting any younger

You are 100% correct, "the price" (whatever that is supposed to mean) will never . . . EVER come down any more than it already has. if people don't BUY BUY BUY now, they'll all be GOooOOOooOOOne! in 17.3 seconds!

 

The meaning, being for example i dont think it will ever come down to like an ASE

I really love these. I purchased one purely for numismatic value. However, I don't think there's much of investment play here. It's very hard to speculate how up or down these will go. My hunch is after the initial hype wears off prices will drop. I'm happy for the one I purchased for myself.

 

Everyone should "just buy one for the collection and be very happy" If it sets you back $40,000, that's A OK because you like it and aren't looking to make an investment or anything like that! *WINK WINK*

Well, wish I would have read this thread before I bought two for 118.00.... That's the way I roll though buy high sell cheap....but I have dropped more than that at the bar.... now have to go back drown my sorrows..........................again.........

 

CORRECTION 120.00 as I re-look at purchase order......... take another one down here beer tender............

 

American $1 Silver Eagles seem to have the best premium over spot (maybe $1.50 per tr.oz). Maple Leafs and these silver Krugerrands might have a $1 premium, silver rounds may have a $0.50 premium. That's how I look at it. To me, the silver Krugerrand would have the same value as a Canadian silver Maple Leaf...not 3X spot.

 

Call me when it is down to around the $30 range.
