I thought it might be interesting to see how CoinTalks members stack up! So here it goes: How do you stack up? Cast your vote using the survey above, and post a comment.

approximately 350 oz. of Junk and 58 oz. of ASEs and Bullion. Planning to buy another 60oz. of junk next week if the prices stay low.

I don't actually stack. Silver would need to come down quite a bit before it starts becoming attractive to me. I'd rather just have more coins. :)

I have a lot of French medals made of silver, so obviously, I don't stack them.

Wow 12 votes and flat across the board so far from sub 10 to 2k+. We have a diverse crowd here :)

I'm a coin collector first, but it is easy to accumulate some silver bars and junk silver along the way. If the precious metals go through the roof it will make great trading material for some higher end coins.

How do you figure? Coins tend to rise in concert with metals. Relatively speaking, silver has never done better than high end numismatic coins.

You say they rise in concert and then you imply silver has never done better. Does that leave room for: High end coins can? In my judgement, silver could go 10X it's current price and simply be a small deposit on a high end numismatic coin.

Coins in general rise with metals. High end coins rise more than generic coins.

I don't see what impact rising metals have on a Chain Cent or a Early Dollar? When I was talking high end coins I meant coins with lots of numismatic value, collection centerpieces for a middle class collector such as myself.

Two CoinTalk members that count their silver in pounds rather than ounces. ;)

Yup. It's gotta be nice to need a furniture dolly to move your silver
