Gold: in about 10 days ( + or - a few days). Silver: in late May or early June. according to the broker.
Is it normal for the silver libertads to be released so late in the year? Also does any one have a link to 1 oz silver libertads mintages for prior years?
Last year at the summer ANA Convention, I spoke to the Mexican Mint. They had a booth there, and they didn't think they would be available until early fall. You have to go through their dealer list, similar to what our mint does for bullion, to buy them. They are not offered from the mint itself. I hear a few of the Mexican government banks sell them, but only to those who purchase in person.
Yeah I wish the Mexican mint would sell directly to collectors. There are many Mexican coins I've wanted to buy over the years. Usually commemorative coins but unless I find them on Ebay, at a coin show, or an online dealer that specializes in Mexican coins, I'm usually out of luck.
So if I wanted to by a roll of Libertads date not important where is a good place to buy them. I see prices all over the place online, I'm just curious if any of you long time Libertad collectors have a favorite spot online to order that maybe specializes in Libertads.
