2014 Canadian Gold Gilded Silver Maple Leaf 5 Coin Set

I do ~ I think that if some collectors started looking at coins offered by other mints they may start to like what they see. Sometimes with the currency exchange rate you can get real good deals on coins from other countries.

Also other countries have some very Artistic Banknotes at super value prices.

These sets are now in stock at many coin shops and the Royal Canadian Mint. Gatewest Coin also ~ not back-ordered any longer, limited availability. On there way !

 

These are the first real pictures of this set that I have seen, very nice!

I originally didn't want to buy it as it is more expensive than last year release and it still have the crappy clamshell case. But after seeing it in person, I really like it and brought one.

I live in Michigan not to far to ship. I received sets number 1555 and 1556 very nicely packaged from this A+ seller.

 

Got the tracking number from Gatewest, kept checking and it showed they were in country but that's it. Wife and I went to a movie this afternoon, then dinner. Got home and a box was sitting on the porch. My two sets with over $22 in postage taped onto one side. That was quite a sight. Dug into the box which must have taken me at least 5 minutes to open. Two huge boxes....bigger than it looks in the pics. There they were, my two sets. I have to say, they are really beautiful coins. Anyone who did not buy these at a reduced price they were offered at missed out on a great deal. None of the pics I have see of these coins do them justice. They are stunning to look at with the different reliefs of maple leaves and the frosted background. Sure glad I picked up my two sets. Gee, I also have a PO Box. Maybe I should order two more in my wife's name...hehe!!

 

What set numbers did you receive ? The set number will be on the certificate set number blank/9,999.

They're still available at $226.95 US per set + $5 expedited shipping (limit 2 sets). That said, I can't bring myself to pay $458.90 for 3.8 troy of silver... Just can't.

Edit: They're the same price at Albern.com as well, if you guys are serious about wanting more sets. The site looks exactly the same... just a different logo/masthead.
