2014 AtB 5oz Mintages

I think it's a fine looking coin and as part of the National Park Service the site is appropriate. I just don't like the design as part of this series. The other quarters show off scenes of natural beauty or landmarks of historical significance. This one doesn't.

Exactly why I like it.

 

Any reason -- mintages ? -- that some of the coins in the series sell for alot more than others ? Is it just demand for a few, like Denali, or is it reduced numbers, older coins that folks missed out on who just found out, etc. ?

 

I think they have been catching on more and more with collectors and folks are trying to catch up. The big bullion and coin dealers are out of most of them, so there is some scarcity in the earlier issues and the lower mintage ones.
