I just checked the site to sign up and think I missed the boat as the option was to sign up for the great sand dunes.
Great article for 5oz AtB's. http://mintnewsblog.com/2014/06/american-silver-eagles-vs-atb-5-oz-silver-bullion-coins/
The subscription gets you the "next" in the series. Since Arches orders are being placed now, that's probably why. Sand Dunes is going to be another good one though.
These subscriptions are the best thing since sliced bread. I just upped my order from 2 of every to four of every, seems like a no brainer even at $28 per ounce.
Yeah. Seems like the Mint is slapping my CC every month with this series. All i really wanted was Smokey and Everglades for the discounted price, but the Mint figured the same and made them 1rst and last. Fiddlin' Bens
It is nice to see these beautiful BIG silver coins are getting more sales and exposure. In my opinion, these 76mm coins are some of the finest modern editions to a USA collection.
i just got a bullion one from JMBullion. It was a little scruffy and came in a ziplock, but surrounded by bubble wrap so no problem there. I was a little disappointed in the scruffy, but it don't matter since it is bullion. The price was good. Fortunately, I had an air-tite for that size, where there it now resides.
It you're happy with "just bullion", fine - but, I'd go for higher grades if possible, as these are collectable and higher grades are worth more. The smart dealers are selling the "junk" for the lowest price - if possible, try to cherry pick or order the P-Mint from the mint - at least you have a chance with them.
Another 1,242 Arches P 5 oz collector ATBs were sold last week bringing the total mintage to 22,543 out of a 30,000 maximum mintage.
