It looks like the final mintage will be in the 230k - 240k range based on numbers from the mint's spreadsheet.

I was surprised to see PCGS 69 sets going for $120 - $130 on ebay earlier this week. That is a pretty big loss after grading fees, ebay fees, paypal fees, and shipping.

I noticed that after a couple days of that happening the seller pulled all of the 69 sets and is only selling their PCGS 70 sets now which are still going for $210 - $220, but far less than they were selling for.

Not the end, waiting for the final adjusted/audited sales.

The final mintage numbers won't make much of a difference in the demand for this set, which is not that great, so far.

That's their payback for not being ready. They had the coins in hand but not enough mint packaging to complete the order's. Plus, they had other problems which caused additional broken delivery promises for the issue. Without looking back, I think my shipping date changed at least 5 times.

I'll take you as my partner on Powerball lottery picks any time. We would have enough winning numbers to show a profit, regardless. :>)

Perhaps this is because of the slabs. With different labels and releases available, the dealer's don't know ahead of time which one will have the greatest appeal. So if they guess wrong, they have to discount the slow sellers to get them out of their inventory. Now the coins and the labels are both contributing to the fluctuations.

Ok so I saw a reverse proof today and it was going for like $250 at my LCS. How do you get one of these when they initially roll out ? Are they really worth that much ? It was beautiful but it's not like it was a different design on the coin.
