Understood... "to each his own". You could flip the Enhanced as well. I sold a set to a LCS and they in turn flipped only the Enhanced.

With 4RPs out, I expect to see an overall price drop. From my understanding there will not be a RP ASE for a while. I hope this is true.

 

Yea we need something different like a High Relief Silver Eagle.

The Mint has announced that it will NOT make a RP SAE next year. It is making a 4 coin Kennedy Half Dollar set with a W Mint RP Half.

Personally, I think that the Enhanced coin will displace the reverse proof as the darling of the SAE world. The design of the flag and the way that it's highlighted in the enhanced coin makes it one of the most beautiful coins I have ever seen.

That said, I don't know if this enhanced finish will fare well on other designs. At least not as well as it does on the Walking Liberty design. It might just be a perfect storm.

Good! As for replacement... I will take the RP over the Enhanced, although the enhanced is nice.
I think an Enhanced would work on the AGE (the rays, torch and olive branch on the obverse and the nest on the reverse), as it has on an ASE but that's about it (unless on a commemorative).

With all of these anniversary sets in Ag, I am starting to miss(waited on but never came) the 25th set of the Au Eagle.

Will the Kennedy be Ag and/or clad?
