I just got off the phone with them. My order has a ship date of 6-17, she now tells me 7-2..................
If you're looking to flip, you might actually consider doing the math and consider in the percentage of who grades what at what percentage, then take into account the money they draw on average. You can only use historical info for this, but all things considered you might be surprised.
The fields are burnished Sam, but I swear the enhancements are 'proof'. I've got some more pics that will be up in a moment. Gosh darn these things is difficult as the devil to photograph.
Ken - Seems like the fields around the design are burnished but the rest is either mirror-like or deep cameo like a proof. Cannot wait to see mine in hand. Thanks for posting pictures.
Nice, thanks. Looks like the devices are softer than the coarse lazer frosting on proofs. Is that true in hand? And, is the reverse proof "softer" too?
Not to rub it in anyones faces, but I just got my shipping confirmation from Silver Towne for my PCGS First Strike 70 set............ Should be here thursday? Strange.
Wow. Must have been a special arrangement between the USMint and Silvertowne and also Silvertowne and PCGS. Good for you. Post some pics when you get them. TC
Speaking of PCGS FS 70's, there have been 45 pre-sale auctions of these sets on eBay over the past two weeks, ranging in price from $305 to $450. Simply amazing, considering you could have bought the same set retail for $290 or less just 2 weeks ago. Here's the search link: http://www.ebay.com/sch/Coins-Paper-Money-/11116/i.html?_sop=1&LH_Sold=1&_from=R40&LH_Complete=1&_nkw=2013+west+point+set+pcgs+-69+-NGC&LH_Auction=1
Right you are Statequarterguy, they are softer than usual. The reverse proof is (what can I say?) a reverse proof, like all of the others. I've had a devil of a time photographing these pieces. I must have taken 60 or 70 shots and I'm still not satisfied. Here are, what I feel at the moment, is my best effort...........
