As you can tell, it's drawn a lot more attention and considerably more discussion than the posting of links and sales figures in the pre-sale after market for this product has. At any rate, it's got nothing to do with me how you interpret my thoughts on this subject which are every bit as valid as those you are running to the defense of, additionally my comments are not attacks. And who is this "Dnar" you speak of?

My point about their optimism, their "positive manner" as you put it, is that it does have a negative effect on the perceived value in the after market of these coins, that their posting only serves to keep their idle hands occupied until their orders arrive and/or the next new thing emerges for sale, and causes the Mint to think they can keep asking higher and higher retail knowing what will happen shortly after collectors get their orders placed. Dealers know it too and keep asking for more and more from these products that they easily resell for profit due to consumer confusion over limited status, perfect grades and what something is worth. These are the points that seem to escape so many people committed to this 'price posting' (not really, watching) activity. As I stated before, they only watch for numbers that are increasing and only post when they find higher and higher values. Of course these folks dislike being told the high prices are not necessarily a true and accurate value or that there may also exist lower prices realized that they didn't "watch". [QUOTE="krispy, post: 1484573, member: 19065"]Animal cruelty is never okay Darryl. :D They're not rants, they're reasoned thoughts that I have shared with this thread/forum, and done so in the face of great adversity. New ideas are often met with such resistance, the issue isn't my "issues" it's an issue that applies to every collector/flipper/investor engaged in this and dealing in this product.
