LOL ~ I've been watching the NGC PF/RP 69 set bidding out at $175 to $185 with free shipping.

dealers buying from us (poor collectors) should be very low now. the currency and coin set should be $55.00 to $60.00 a set. way below mint price of $72.95 plus $4.95 shipping. while the 2012s two coins set should be around $150.00 to $155.00.

yeah there is a huge surplus of these sets right now. so ebay buyers will pay as little as they can.

but once the final mintage comes in for the s proof, once the final population comes in,and once the TPGs post there price guides, then it may be a different story.

right now sellers descriptions are kinda vague. but once the final numbers are in, a seller can include that info when selling.

who knows. its a guessing game trying to figure out whats going to be a hit or miss from the mint.

I only have a few sets and I love them.

Good. That's the only way I'd pick something like this up......in the aftermarket. Absolute tosh.

now it's the turn for bullion buying. not collector's items. those were too high. gold now trading $1,663.70 hi and silver $30.35 hi.

Pcgs to flip and ngc to hold. Watch for milk spots!

Is it me or does PCGS PR ASE get spots more than NGC? Matter of fact I have no NGC with milk spots... Is it a reaction to something in the slab? My ASE in the OGP don't seem to be spotting either.

These OGP San Francisco sets are turning out to be dogs, so are the graded 69 sets. It seems as thought the big dealers win again selling the premium 70 sets at huge mark up!

$166.25 a raw set. that's the lowest recorded at e-bay.

    $174.99 a NGC grade69 set.

Anyway to see tell tale signs of milk spots? Any advice? I hear that if you have PCGS graded coin and then has milk spots, PCGS will buy it from you? But NGC doesn't have that buy back program like PCGS? Is this correct information?

You probably will be able to bid a set out on ebay for a little cheaper with free shipping, just be patient ! If you go the ebay route for a 70 set just make shure the seller offers a return policy in case a problem comes up with a coin (spots). But I have heard good things about the mint products web-site.

Doesn't milk spots emerge randomly or is there a time frame like after a month if you don't have spots then the 70 set will be spot free?
"But I have heard good things about the mint products web-site." Are you saying that, in general the San Francisco mint has good reviews on their product?

The URL you listed mintproducts.com is a reputable web-site. Milk spots do appear randomly, but if you have a 70 set and get a spot then it probably is not a 70 set any longer.
