why not ask modern coin mart how much they are buying from us for grade69 and grade70?. tell us the prices. maybe not buying at this time. because we got a lot. right?. for others. no buyers.

these sets are undervalued right now.

pcgs is showing a low population for First Strike 70s.

the S Proof Ultra Cameo will be the second lowest mintage of all proofs UCAM.thats even if the "making history sets sell 100,00. the 1995 would be the only lower mintage proof.

the 2006 & 2011 reverse proof is priced at around $450 for PF70. one coin only.

but the 2012 sets are selling for only $300 for Pf70 reverse and pf70 UCAM. thats crazy.

It will be interesting to see the final population numbers and price guides on these coins.

the raw sets are selling below $200 on ebay. thats crazy.

these sets should have a compared price to the 2006 20th sets. minus the burnished.

if the 2006 sets are selling for $320. minus a $65 burnished, then thats $255 for the reverse and UCAM proof.

so the 2012 s raw sets should be selling for $255. the reverse has about the same mintage as the 2006.and the 2012 s UCAM has a much lower mintage then the 2006.

    2006 P reverse proof mintage is 248,875.
2012 S reverse proof mintage is 251,000. maybe lower due to cancelations.

2006 proof UCAM. mintage is 1,092,477. thats the second HIGHEST mintage. thats crazy.
2012 S proof mintage will be between 251,000 and 351,000. (second lowest mintage)

Go figure? Glad I just collect and don't have to worry about appreciation down the road. Love it when it happens, but it don't always have to happen in this neck o' the woods........:)

Yep! I am hoping that there are thousands of cancellations that will bring the mintage down some. That's my only hope on this set.

Didn't you buy from Graded PF70s silvertowne, you lucky fish. If I only knew not to buy from the mint, my ship date is in Oct.

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

On the subject of watching prices, This one sold for $225 in OGP.
The average sales for PCGS 70s on ebay are around $200-230.
PCGS 70s have been pretty wild. From 374.69 to 493.99
This NGC 69 set for $210
A variety of NGC 70 sets ranging from $285-310 with This one sold for $315

Now that is a wild ride.

Oh hey just realized you got yours from silvertowne, did it come with OGP?

How about if I sent mines in for grading in Oct. would I get back the OGP?

Maybe I should take a gamble and get some OGP on eBay and I get it graded myself? Shoul that be one of my consideration to save a few bucks?

    I bought a PCGS70 FS set from Silvertowne for $239.00 + $15.00 s/h.
It arrived w/ OGP packed in the box. It was a bit cheaper then sending in my set in OGP for grading.
Of course, I was not guaranteed "70" with that set.

    Happy Camper.

Yes you are a Happy Camper. sigh. Still hope, I see it for $380 somewhere for PCGS. Just have to remember where. so lost.

$380.00 is a good price. I think I saw them yesterday for $469.00 at MCM

That's right. Collector's who are still waiting for their orders to ship from the US Mint should cancel their orders, that way they can get a graded set for a little more money and the mintage numbers will go down. At least that's what we've been told, "mint to demand." Let's see how the US Mint deals with that curve ball.

You can pretty much count on any open box OGP on eBay has been cherry picked and not worth sending off for grading.

Could be my search parameters are different from yours but it returned prices for the set of $399.00 and more for PCGS70 FS sets.

my 2 sets from silvertowne came with the OGP. but the one set I bought from mintproducts did not.

if you send in your sets in oct. you will not get the ER or FS pedigree. and Im not sure if the TPG will require sets to be in a sealed box

You can buy a set in a sealed box from ebay.
