For what it's worth, I have been working with computers as a tech, a programmer/analyst, data manager, and every other capacity since the days of candle powered computers and I can tell you whether you are using Chrome, Explorer, a T10 connection, fiber optic networks, or any other variation of hardware/software, you are still funneling into the US Mint servers and systems that everyone else is funneling into. The differences is connections probably has more to do with your IP provider's load at the time of connection, the cookies and saved web pages you have on your computer or don't have saved, and how rurally you live but not always nor is it really going to matter a whole heck of a lot. The point is that you can't really improve your connection by switching to this browser vs. that browser or any other desktop variation but I think people like to believe that they have some controllable aspect of their computer connection that they can change to improve their access. There really isn't all that much you can do in most cases but if someone does change something, they can usually convince themselves that the change really mattered. In most cases, and I say most cases, it really doesn't matter all that much what browser you use or the IP provider you have because most of the factors that control the speed and access to the Mint serves are out of your control anyway. This is not something that I'd spend a lot of time thinking about.

As an example, I live in a town that is completely fiber optic cable enabled, I logged in through large, large capacity serves, I mean enormous servers and it still took me an hour and a half to make my purchase. Now what in the world could I have done to empower my connection anymore than that and still I spent an hour and a half trying to make a buy? There are just a lot of better ways of improving your chances of getting through to the Mint to make a purchase other than changing your browser. IMHO.
