Well I'm buying right away as I don't want to get taken in the secondary market. You know people will ask and get a few hundred more.

Clearly you two have a lot to talk about so you should probably take it to PM if anything else needs to be said.

So how about that 25th anniversary set eh?

true ! but i think it is a healthy hobby. i don't spend money on booze, cigarettes , or drugs, i dont go night clubbing anymore. but that was fun too.

but yes you are right. and I am grateful.

It would be cool to go to a Children's Hospital and donate some coins to give young unfortunate people a chance to start a collection. Maybe instill some hope.

Hey KD13 & welcome to the madness. :)

My opinion is that it's best to order on the website. It's going to be slow as molasses but just hang in there and keep trying. The phone option is there if you want to work that too (while on the computer) but I like the fact that an internet order will keep a record of my purchase in my online account with the mint. Phone orders don't guarantee that. Either way, phone or computer, it's going to be slow going on 10/27 at 12PM. If things get too frustrating try again in an hour or so. Game day at high noon is always crowded but things usually thin out later in the day. Good luck on the 27th!

I have nothing but time. I spend my days at the MLK LIbrary in Washington, DC. Free Internet.

$60/unopened box. (minus whatever it costs you to ship them to them)

Yeah I saw that. Given what they said, it makes me think they are going to have them all slabbed and then will sell them on their new TV channel.

When the 2009 UHR came out my order was one of the first, by the order number yet people who ordered hours after mine recieved thier coin long befoe I did. As a matter of fact mine didn't arrive till after the FS/ER was available for the coin. Thats OK because I sold it a few momths ago for for a nice return.

You know, I was thinking the same thing last night after I posted. I too was in on that (UHR) early and it did take a devilishly long time to get it.
