New thread today, very very interesting! Unique Bullion Coin in 25th Anniversary Set? by Statequarterguy: Look at the 3 non proof walkers. Pick the Bullion coin from the other two burnished/satin/matte... Turn it over No mintmark and its the bullion coin. My wife and I tried, we both picked a mintmark. Should be easy picking with all three in front of you. possible burnished coin with no mintmark?

Funny thing because that is what I just finished doing! There is so much going on (and that's a good thing) with these Anniversary threads and comments, I'm starting to get a little burned out. (that's not a good thing) Some paper money discussion was a pleasure to the eyes and mind. :>)

 

It's been an even longer wait for the new $100 notes.

 

Any idea when the $100 note will be released?

 

Too Much Time on My hands

I called APMEX asking them how much they are paying for a sealed box of five anniversary sets. They replied $3,000.00 and $350.00 each for individual set not in a sealed mint box.
I wonder if it might be easier for the people selling sealed boxes on eBay to send the boxes to APMEX and not have to deal w/ eBay, Paypal and individual customers.

Let's not hold our breathe. We might not see them if the current administration does stay in office after next year and a new Treasurer is put in position, a new signature for the plates and a huge reason to delay and work out the printing kinks for another year... or more.

 

Oops, it appears some sealed mint boxes are selling for significantly more than $600.00 per set on eBay.
