Mint page(online) is showing silver eagles are capped for the year.

 

That's the whole point Maf. We couldn't get 'em last year and we be ever hopeful for them bein' released this year.....

 

Thats what i expected. I wouldnt be surprised if they capped silver production in the next years and or released a below normal mint count for the coins in general.

is it a good or bad idea to place a sub for 10 proofs and 15 uncirculated?

seeing as the mint is about making money and with these prices they make a LOT you think they would add up the total of subs and think about making these coins more then? or are they just a government agency more so then that? (as in they could give a crap less aboutmaking money like a normal business would...)

also having a possibly considered big order would they just cancel it? I know the mint has set limits on certain products but I don't know if they did do that on ASE's in the past...

There will likely be household minimums on these coins if they are minted and released. The demand will be huge, minimums could be as low as one, three or five per household on release. I have a few subscriptions set up for these potential limits in the event a larger order were to get bumped, then maybe a subscription for five, three or one will be sent out. If I get them all then I have at least nine, even though I'm sure the household limit would be announced prior to release so you could set up the right amount to order from the get go.

A lot will count on how many they are allowed to mint by law, if the current legistlation is amended. Demand alone will not allow the Mint to add up potential sales based on subscriptions and just issue the coins. The coin legislation must be revised to permit minting.
