mint sold 7,207 out of 8,000 pieces 2009 american eagle platinum one ounce proof coin. almost sell out. that is magnificent. the mint lucky enough to get big orders due to last week gold and platinum keep rising. but to think it again. this coin is but another bullion coin. just like the UHR double eagle gold and 2009 buffalo proof. there are too many outsiders hungry to buy gold, silver and platinum.

Probably the BIG CT Investors like: Yankee, elaine_1970 and Green18 amongst others I suspect to be hoarding the AEPs.

platinum eagle end with 8,000 pieces. all in the same price. next might be the palladium one.

 

platinum almost hit $1,500.00. gold will follow soon. gold should close this year with a 30% increase.

Platinum

The Pm platinum looks like a lot of other metals. For me there is no physical attraction. A fine piece of Titanium that is polished and made it to a piece of art does more for me then platinum. I do not think the metal draws the eye like gold or even well done silver pieces.
I know I am not alone in my thoughts on this PM.

that's right. i don't like platinum either. and i don't have any. and no plan to buy any in the future. collecting the coin. i prefer gold and silver. that's it.
