Hello everyone, This is my first post and I'm glad to announce that my high relief arrived this morning. I was one of those who ordered the coin within the first half hour and was somewhat frustrated to see order numbers significantly higher than mine delivered first. After examining the coin my frustration disappeared. The design and workmanship is excellent. The high relief design is what caused me to get the coin. After examining closely it reminded me of a Saint-Gaudens sculpture exhibit I had seen. Going back and reviewing the photos that I had taken I found the foundation for the design of this coin. The coin has many similarities to the sculpture "Victory" which was produced between 1892 to 1903. This statue is dedicated to the Civil War hero William Tecumseh Sherman (1820–1891). The front of the statue is similar to the obverse and the statues wings are the wings of the eagle on the reverse. http://www.toledomuseum.org/Collection/SaintGaudens_Victory.htm I'd like to post the photos of the statue that I took of this statue but I not sure how to attach them since there on my laptop. Oh well... As to the mints fulfillment process, I'm sure they will work out the bugs. I installed a number of high volume fulfilment applications in my career and I can appreciate some of the hurdles their going through. The one thing I can't understand is the lack of security in the mints order tracking application. All they need to do is password protect the tracking feature or place it behind the "My Account" login page. I'm just glad to have the coin....:D
