u.s. mint first four days sold some 40,727 pc of uhr double eagle gold coins. based on $1,189.00 each coin. total value worth 48 million dollars plus. and profit at 15% mark up will come out $7 million dollars plus for the mint. not bad as to the poor economic condition right now. what about those 40,727 people who bought before price hiked of $50.00 each. that's saved the collectors another $2 million dollars. now if the gold average come next week at $900.00 to $949.99. another $2 million dollars saving for collectors again. now you telling me that people don't have money because of financial crisis. on the other hand. look at those people who are buying gold and silver coins. it was huge. com padre. mucho dinero.

UHR double eagle gold may reach up to 300,000 pcs. if collectors keep buying it. it will be the same plentiful as the american buffalo one ounce gold first came out. a bullion coin in deed.

 

WELL, whats the latest. Anyone, Im still sitting as backordered 2-6 on the book and the coin. Which doesen't make sense because some with lower #s are getting dates pushed back, maybe they just havent got around to pushing mine back yet.

 

Well, now it seems they've bumped my order, for both the book and coin, back up to the 6th....

Shipping dates all over the place

When I first ordered this coin, my shipping dates shown on my account at the website were Feb 6 for the coin, and Feb 6 for the book. About a week later I received an email stating my shipping dates were now Feb 20 for both the book and the coin. I've been checking the website and my account since then, and the coin's date remained at Feb 6, with the book changing to Feb. 20. Until today, my account now says the book will be shipped on Feb 6 and the coin is in stock and reserved. I gotta stop looking, the mint is just a little screwy it seems.

 

I bought opening day at 1:30pm. As of midnight 2-2-09 my status is:

Mint website still says 2-6 for both, email said 2-18. wtf

 

I received the same. This is good news for me as i'm just holding the order open as a free position on gold.

 

Guys don't go getting your nickers in a bunch over ship dates. They don't mean anything. Watch your credit card statement online if you want a good indicator. They don't charge you until they ship so when you see the charge show up ...its on the way.

Everything else is just messing with you.

 

you are right. just wait they charge you. why worry?. you can cancel it anytime. beside you can also buy it below the mint offered price in the future at any dealers. because this is just another mucho bullion coin.

 

Mint e-mail this morning now states the 18th for product shippment....

 

Whats the point in sending e-mails then?
