So I'm sure this is just some strange error on the mint's part, but I just tracked my order and saw this:

A bit odd that it says 12:25 AM and not PM. Not that it is a big deal big just odd, anyone else's say that?

That is quite odd, thats what mine said RIGHT when I ordered it... now the option to cancel is gone and it looks like this:

exactly one month. the mint sold 116,500 (2009) american buffalo bullion one ounce gold coin. let's said the mint stop this one on dec. the mintage should be around 350,000. but if the mint continue it thru jun, 2010, then the mintage might be around 1,000,000.

 

That is for the uncirculated bullion coin - any guesstimates on the Proof version yet? I would bet 10-15,000 so far maybe more. Figuring that the big dealers got their orders in already unless they are waiting to see if the price drops next week like some folks. I decided not to wait... hopefully my PF70 DCAM Buffs will arrive soon! :goofer:

 

30,000 to 40,000 - 09 buffalo proof. That is my prediction.

 

production will end dec.31,2009. but when did the mint start production?. my estimation stay with around 30,000 to 40,000. as of today. i think less than 3,000 ordered.

 

when do the official numbers come out? I think 3000 is really conservative considering all the dealers out there and people who are interested in "Early Releases" and "First Strikes". I say 7-10K at least. But then thats just a guess...

 

since it is only two months production. every coins is considered first strikes, first release or what ever. who cares those?. we just want the new price, lower price.

returns and cancels will continue until new price announce.

 

Who would return a coin to save 25$.... if you are that person you should wait till the mint offers the price you want to begin with!

Elaine I dont understand where you get your numbers from... can you help me understand your thinking a little better?

 

Maybe if you are that person, you shouldn't be buying the coin in the first place....ya know what I mean!

this time might be the other way around. gold price above $1,050.00. but the mint have to lower the price. because the average london gold is below $1,050.00. can you believe it?.

 

by Wednesday or Thursday. a lot of buyers return. of course. that will include me. ops. krispy too.

as i mention before. 17. 10 for me 7 friends and relatives. 2 UHR and 1 chinese panda. i might convince them to change their mind and cancel the 2 UHR adn 1 panda. and change it to AGB. that's mean 20.

 

lol I didn't know you were serious before... 17 is a freaking herd of buffalo! At those numbers I would wait for the price drop too! Still have time to grade em all first strikes and return the ones that dont look up to par good luck with the herd, let us know when you pull the trigger.
