that is why i don't believe apmex. their shipping cost killing us. if you pay credit card. it even worst at apmex.

 

but apmex is selling two items cheap. namely the 1995w 5 pc set at $5,795.00 and 2008w prosperity set at $2,695.00. the retail price for these two sets are $6,300.00 and 3,100.00 respectively. i don't no why apmex is selling prosperity set at $2,695.00. they are buying the 2008w AGE 1/2 oz at $1,350.00 and AGB 1/2 oz at $1,150.00.

 

Maybe they estimate the coins in these sets would grade lower if submitted to TPGs...

 

maybe the set is already rejected for sending to slab due to lower grade. that is why i don't buy from dealers.

 

Yes, I have seen other coins from Apmex posted here on CT that were sold with a 'representative' coin image, not the actual coin you will receive when you order, but when the coin arrived they have many bag marks, unappealing tone or corrosion, problems that the collector doesn't like. If you want this type of coins try the other sites that are more dealers of collectibles. Moderncoinmart.com has decent Mint products that has the collector in mind.

 

Apmex are trying to sell beaten-up, "Scruffy Maples, nicked, circulated, ugly, etc..." bullion Maples right now for $24.95 over spot, any quantity, currently show over 1400 pieces in inventory.

 

the forgotten 2009 AGB one ounce proof is now 48,012. by the end of this sales. i expect mintage to be around 65,000 to 75,000. which is a lot.

 

will the price of 2009 AGB one ounce proof up again by next one or two weeks?. it will be price at $1,460.00 again.

first spouse gold will also be change if the gold average price pass $1,150.00 an ounce. proof will then be price at $754.00 and the uncirculated at $741.00.

What ever one looks the best to you? IMHO spouse gold will never be worth anything like the buffalos are.
