Just got off the phone w/ a numismaticist that told me his prediction of how the 2008 W series (AGB, AGE, APE, SAE) will go down as soon as "the next big thing comes down on the modern coin scene". I was originally calling to see if he had any fractional buffalo's. He said "those coins are very scarce". I asked him if he thinks they are going up since they are getting more and more scarce and he replied with a simple no, that He said he's been in the coin business for fifty years and he's "seen this kinda thing many times before"..."the 2008 W series is being heavily promoted right now and prices are just outragous!" When the next thing comes along the price should come down significantly ...and then he mentnioned seeing it before...something about a 1964 kennedy half series and some old pennies.

I have my doubts. The 2008 w series do cointain most of the key series date coins and the mint will probably never offer these burnished coins again. I know the numismatic guys HATE these coins because it takes money out of their pocket since people are buying these coins right now and not the old numismatic coins.

Take the poll and tell me where you think these coins are going and why.
