This was the first time I&#039;d ever written to any politician and I am not sure what to expect in any such response, but I did urge them to communicate my sentiments to the appropriate members and agencies in Washington and to reply to me if they would be able to do this on my behalf. </p><p><br /></p><p>It was pretty neat to write to them and I think writing to one&#039;s elected officials may offer more potential than a complaint letter to Mr. Moy&#039;s office at the Mint. I have not yet contacted my local Representative as their web page was not enabled to accept emails (I was surprised by this!), so I may mail a copy of my letter to their office in the near future.
