Is it old-fashioned to wonder at the parenting which allows small children to surf the internet in 2015? I'll grant that they shouldn't be excluded simply as minors everywhere, but - legal issues aside - it's utterly ridiculous to allow young children to post in forums discussing frankly adult matters (mortgages, healthcare, finance, etc.) That intrusion is worse than "self-promoters" ; it's an unreasonable and unwanted troll-ish distraction for legitimate participants.
