    not Mining process.

Therefore, it *must* have been from the ladles in the sky :)

I love that penny. It's nice and I I think these guys are just a little jealous because they they didn't find it.

Hmm brown gravy. Sounds like a passenger jet with a leaky toilet. You were lucky it wasn't still frozen.

Yeah, but he has a look of disbelief on his face. And what about the guy crouching behind the column by the steps (right side)! Of course, you can't really see him directly, you have to assume he's there because of his shadow on the ground!

    (Wow, this is fun!)

Btw, what a disgusting looking zoin (zinc coin!)!:smuggrin::smuggrin:

What on God's green earth are you talking about??? Several experienced members chimed in, what the hell is your credibility? One post? Did you join just to say that??? This is obviously post mint damage, and the OP should know it's PMD. Even as a newbie I could identify damaged coins.

The OP needs to invest in a magnifying glass, Red Book, a 2018 US Error Coin guide, and learn to do some research before asking questions that make it seem like he's on meth and picking through his spare change jar hoping to find something to make a buck to score a quick fix.

I have no problem with newbies, however, I do have a problem with newbies getting cocky and snide with other people when they've offered their expertise.

A Close AM should appear to either be touching or have just enough space between the letters for a piece of paper to slide between them. The letters of the Wide AM variety will look separated and like a piece of paper will have a lot of wiggle room if slid between.

The other way to tell them apart is to look at the distance between the initials “FG” and the base of the Lincoln Memorial. The Close AM variety will have wide initials, whereas the Wide AM variety will have close initials. Just remember the opposite will be true for the initials and the AM.
