Damage PMD. 1965-1967 coins (all denominations) did not have a mint mark.

I lightened your D up it looks just like the 1964 D from the Denver mint it does look like you have 2 dots beside Unum this could be a D from Denver I posted two pics for you to compare received_333986807598788.jpeg received_778470792958698.png

That's a Philadelphia mint coin. It took a hit and with a little imagination it's a misplaced D.

I adjusted the picture so you can see the hit and the displaced metal that forms the anomaly. It’s just PMD.

Cents were only minted at Philadelphia in 1965, 1966 and 1967. There are rumors and stories but no conclusive proof otherwise. It's PMD.

There were no mintmarks on any of them, but the actual production for each mint was
    1965
    P 301,470,000
    D 973,364,900
    S 220,030,000

    1966
    P 811,100,000
    D 991,431,200
    S 383,355,000

    1967
    P 907,575,000
    D 1,327,377,100
    S 813,715,000

May I ask what proof you have to support this?

You'll find the figures in the Coin World Almanac and the original source is the Annual Mint Report.

Thank you. The reason I ask is because those figures do not add up to the Red Book figures and everywhere I look only Philadelphia is cited as minting them.

There is a discrepancy in the totals, a small amount of that is probably from the SMS coins, I don't know what accounts for the rest of it.
