Here's a nice Roosevelt Dime I bought at the LCS in one of those old blue ANACS holders. I thought $30.00 was fair. Love the fruity pebbles toning and the major strike through on the obverse. I'm just trying to figure out how ANACS was able to call it a 1947 when most of the 4 and the last digit are gone.

Wow, great find for $30! My LCS $30 Morgans has decent stuff sometimes. Best date I found was an 04-S, but it was damaged and I think VGish. Left it in for the next treasure hunter to get excited over.

I bought the '89-S to flip on eBay to help supplement another '83-CC GSA I bought. I couldn't pass it up because it came in the original shipping box. I was able to make $70 on the '89-S so it really helped bring down the cost of the GSA, which I think has a good shot at 64+/65. ;)

From your photo, I cropped the date and circled and outlined for you. The four is evident, but you can see a very small remnant of the 7 in there. The only possible numbers would be 6-9, and 7 is the only one with the straight top. You can also get a photo of another 1947-S and overlay the date to see it. (I am just pressed for time atm). Hope that helps.

A '45 Roosie would be quite the spectacular find! ;)

If you want a 1945 Roosie, I think you'll have to talk to Dan Carr.

I'd like to think that he already heard. You can't do coins the way he does without reading the Forums.

Here’s that $12 1838 Dime. Besides the reverse scratch it is quite nice for a $12 buy and has a good reverse, earning it a solid place in my Seated Dime collection. I will give the obverse an acetone rinse tomorrow to get some of that gunk off which I think is hiding detail particularly on the shield.

Trade for a Dos Peso (I also got cash ) 60 CBD coverts to 45 USD so it counts and I’m happy to have this over the Peso .

Drag them from whatever image folder you have on your computer to the reply box in this thread (or any other thread). "Drop" the image in the reply box. A thumbnail of your image will appear below the reply box giving you options to post a thumbnail or a full size image. I would suggest you click the full size image button.

If you have two images, for example an obverse and a reverse, after you've clicked the full size button your image will appear in the reply box. Hit "Enter" (or carriage return) on your keyboard. The cursor will now be below your first image, and you can enter a second image. Repeat the procedure in the above paragraph, and then click the "Post Reply" link.
