Alrighty, part 12, of the Coins Outta My Vault series… We have a coin that I have posted before but I did in fact re do the picture. This is a 1943 Switzerland Half Franc, which has .835 silver in its composition. This is one of my favorites outta my my collection that I received from my dad, which he received from his dad. I always wonder what was really in my grandpa’s collection though, as my father and I only received a small fraction of his $300,000 collection. Had some sleepless nights, that is for sure. Well anyway, here is the coin, ENJOY Y’all! P.S. Too bad you can even get an inventory list of that $300k collection to review. This latest coin is a cool piece! Swiss coins are quite nice and simple in design. I like the figures and portraits, Helvetia. I've been watching out for gold 10 and 20 Franc pieces myself. Plan on getting some in my collection one day.
Yes, but sadly it will never happen... All I can do is just dream about what could have been in there! I've been looking at some of those gold pieces myself, they sure do seem to look nice
