Parthicus presents: Top 10 of 2019

My favorite is #1 as well. I’m not much of a Parthian collector (yet), but the type has been on my list for some time now.

Great coins, all nice but I like your Scaurus denarius the most but hard to pick a favourite.

Weird, huh? I've tried to expand my focus in the last couple of years, and have succeeded somewhat (notably adding some more early Phoenician and Indian coins), but I keep on circling back to Parthia. I guess they just have the right mixture of exotic and familiar, of well-documented history and mystery, of culture and "barbarism".
