Going to be heading into NGC with my next submission. Thought I'd get some opinions

    I'm guessing with limited knowledge a 40, 53, 35

I would say with limited knowledge of the series myself......

    EF45
AU50 (assuming the flatness on the eagle's head and wing is a flat strike)
    EF40

That being ngc. Pcgs subtract a grade as they’ve been super tough. The second would be xf45 there

I’ve learned I can’t reliably grade from your photos. The colors are off, and they distort the presence/absence of luster.

    Anyhoo:

    XF details, cleaned
XF details, rim damage at 2-5 o’clock and 7-10 o’clock. (If it is just a planchet anomaly, XF-45)
    VF-30

    No worries.

You’ve graded a GTG AU coin a VF35.... think I’ll stick with my pics and grades.

They work for me and the people that buy my coins. :)

I think he's offended by your comment on his pictures...

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I think I like these at:

    40
    50
    30

I think the colors are both attractive and natural. This is the sort of look that sells for a premium.

Not offended... but not going to take criticism from someone who's never seen a coin I've photographed in hand but likes to comment on everyone of my posts how awful the pictures look... I can compare my pictures to trueviews and other pictures taken by other members in this group Like This Morgan shot by Justin Lee.

Others don't seem to have a problem grading based off my images. Maybe it's just the one doing the grading?

You were 0/7 on my NGC submission
    You vs NGC
    VG8-----G6
    VF25----VF Details
    VF20----VF35
    VF30---XF45
    F Details---F15
    XF Details----Au Details
    Au53--- XF45

and 2/10 on my PCGS Submission
    You vs PCGS
    XF45-----AU Details
    VF35----AU Details
    AU53----Au Details
    VF30----Fine Details
    VF25---VG10
    VF35---XF40
    VF20---VF Details
    VF35----VF35
    VF25---VF20
    VF30---VF30

So please excuse me if I don't take your judgement seriously and highly doubt that the error lies within my pictures...

The truth doesn't hurt when the "truth" is just your opinion... but I guess that's why we see all the cat fights you're in around here. You think your opinion is truth.

Well, considering the high score for “correctness” on both of those submissions was 2, and I did just as well as several other members (I was the high score on your PCGS submission), maybe you should consider that your images don’t faithfully depict the surfaces of the coin.

On the first I can't tell if those are parallel scratches on her cheek from a plastic slide in the album or wipe marks. I call it XF-45 market acceptable, but it might get an XF details for the cheek or the scratch from the bust that terminates half-way between the chin and the interior point of S2.
Coin 2, I'm going to assume a weak strike on those rims and call it an Au-53.
Coin 3, maybe VF-30 maybe VF-35 all depends on the day.
In the end all grading is subjective...even the TPGs.

I'm with Physics-Fan on the grades. I asked about axial lighting because it really brings out the colors. Would love to see those in person!
