Your pictures drown out all luster, so I am guessing based on the details. XF-45 VF-35 AU-53 VF-30 VF-25 VF-35 VF-20 VF-35 VF-25 VF-30
Wow that is one heck of a toned half dollar collection! I'm no good at grading halves, but I'm gonna go with TypeCoin971793 cuz those grades seem pretty accurate.
Those all have a similiar look. My spidey senses started tingling as i was looking coin #1 over with a discerning eyeball. I would be scared to send those together all in one batch. If one looks questionable then they all do.......... Then again ive downed quite a few Miller High Life bottles, PLUS its PCGS we are talking about here so they probably straight graded. Good call on NOT sending to NGC !!
@BigTee44 I’m assuming that you do know that the 1813 is the 50/UNI variety, right? Stuck out like a sore thumb.
I'm not sure, I think they were pretty harsh on some of the grades to be honest. None got artificial toning though. I'm not going to block out the labels, so feel free to check your guesses Yep, I went through them and found the variety before deciding if any were going in for grading. I don't think my pictures are too far off from what the TVs look like....
Yes after they've been cleaned. Thats my point. My OTHER point was it doesnt matter because PCGS will let it slide right on thru. Maybe all the reading ive done on here lately is brainwashing me to hate the TPGs lol. The new tru-views posted, actually make these coins look OK though
I only mention it because I accidentally botched a GTG recently by posting the cert #. Someone lists the grades with an lol and the fun is over. TrueViews look great though.
I didn’t say they were original surfaces (usually colored + circulated means not). I implied that they were completely natural.
Without cheating, I'm going to give you my grades. 1. AU-53 2. AU-50 3. AU-55 4. EF-40 5. VF-30 6. VF-35 7. VF-30 8. VF-35 9. VF-25 10. VF-35 Beautiful coins regardless of the TPG grade, in my opinion.
No, you shouldn't. Too much competition already! Just be aware...capped bust halves are the Lays Potato Chips of the coin world. It's impossible to buy just one.
