    This is a rare coin. I do not see the mint mark normally found bottom right wing. This means it is a mule with 1925 reverse

    Well, that's pretty cool! This was a random purchase from who-knows-when/where as a 'one from every country' type thing. Had never looked at it so closely. Thank you for pointing it out, will give me something to research a bit :).

    The western side of New Guinea was know as Netherlands New Guinea for a period before it became part of Indonesia. There were no coins issued under the name of Netherlands New Guinea. There were two series of notes, dated 1950 & 1954. These are not very common.
