Need to get me one of those. Closest thing I’ve had is this holed octagonal Liberty Head fractional, on my old Holey Gold Hat.
I know this is the octagons thread, but why not a ten-sided decagon? I lived in Tanzania as a child, in 1972, the year this coin was struck. One of these coins was my weekly allowance for being a good lad. I bought a model airplane kit with one once.
This is graded PCGS MS-64, CAC. Here's another. It's a "Lesher dollar." Lesher tried to circulate these in Colorado, Victor to be exact. The town is sort of a semi-ghost town today.
