Bought my first ancient gold! (and it's toned!!)

I love collecting toned gold, and have been wanting an ancient gold for awhile now, so when I saw this coin posted by @iamtiberius I had to ask him about it. Thankfully he was willing to sell it to me, and I love it!

Who wouldn't love gold? This is a very nice coin. I remember it when it was posted before. Congrats.

Very pretty OP coin. No Roman gold here unfortunately.

I couldn't even tell where they were, unless it was the edge marks it mentioned.

 

At the moment, (things may change), gold does not do it for me. I don't lust after it. Except with one exception. You all know which one, and you all know who has it.

I have always loved that Valens.

I only have 2 gold coins. The first is Justinian and the second is a scarce coin of Theophilus. I love them both. I do have my eye on another gold coin at the moment and will post it if I get it.
