    I would like this coin. I seriously thought about getting my 8-year-old son a Morgan for his birthday but I did not. If I win I probably won't give him this one because it's better than any that I have, but I might give him one of my other ones.

    I haven't been all that active around these parts lately due to health issues, but I'm hoping that 2025 is a much better year all around. Morgans have always been a favorite of mine, although I only have a scant few, so it would be great to add such a nice example to my collection. Thank you to everyone behind this giveaway!

    In August 2024 I received an emergency cervical corpectomy at C6 with fusion of C5-C7. The neurosurgeon that did my surgery went to medical school in St. Petersburg, Russia, where the 1/4 Kopeck offered was minted. This neurosurgeon was involved in a very intensive surgery in Ghana to separate twins connected at the brain (brief article with video clip below). Sadly one of the infants died in surgery.

    I credit this man with saving my life and if I were to win this coin I would cherish it for what it would represent to me. A piece that came from the same city this neurosurgeon began learning his craft.
