    I have no slabbed war nickels. This is a beauty. I think I'd like to jump in on this one, for me.

    And @lordmarcovan , I now know the effort it takes to coordinate and successfully run one of these giveaways. Kudos to you brother. You deserve a statue in your honor.

    Count me in! I have a soft spot in my heart for war nickels. They are the low man on the totem pole of junk U.S. silver coins, but I like them because most people only see a grimy looking coin.

    Below is a pic of one of the first coin folders I started in 1977. All the coins in it(including the war nickels), came from circulation: IMG_3809.jpeg

    Should take place on or shortly after Saturday, January 11, 2025. If I should happen to be absent, you may assume the contest to be open for entries up until the time I return and announce the drawing.
