I'm looking for a site where I can purchase 1 oz bars by using paypal. Please let me know if you use any sites like this.
Sites that allow payment of bullion by payapl (or with credit cards) usually tack on a 2-3% surcharge to your purchase. Just send a check or money order in the mail for purchases to avoid such fees if buying bullion from dealers through the mail. Two sites that come to mind who used to allow PayPal (not sure they still do) were/are Provident Metals or Quality Silver Bullion for example.
A problem with using eBay for bullion purchases is that they recently changed their policy, disallowing eBucks for use towards bullion listings, so if you add up a credit you will find you are limited an unable to use the next Bucks credit towards such a purchase. Just keep that in mind.
Here's a nice Indian for you.... http://shop.ldrcoins.com/1926-25-Indian-NGC-MS62-1926-25-Indian-NGC-MS62.htm and I believe Matt takes Paypal.
My sincerest apologies to Provident Metals. The mistake was on my end and not theirs. After a heeping helping of crow, I must retract the statement above. I will continue to do business with Provident Metals. if they will allow me too. They are a fine company. Jeremy, to you my most heartfelt apology. Scottsdale Silver (scottsdalesilver.com) accepts PayPal but you won't see it mentioned until you add something into the shopping cart and begin the ordering procedure. They apply the same premium as with a major credit card purchase. Golden Eagle Coins (goldeneaglecoin.com) also says they accept PayPal, but I seem to recall that the option was not offered when I actually tried to place an order a while back (a few months ago). There are a couple of coin shops that offer items for sale via ebay that also accept PayPal (as most everyone on ebay does).
