I'm happy to report I was able to order a bottle of Verdicare at Wizard! I'm going to try it first on this Diocletian. For those who have used the product, do you have any advice or any misgivings?
Haven't ever used it but I wrote down a note that it seemed worth investigating further. Please let us know how it goes!
I got a 'back in stock' notification from Wizard about this today. I'm pleased to finally be able to pick some up; after it having been unavailable for a few years.
..that makes my old supply go down in value....my investors will be angry , but i'm glad to hear it!..
I was able to get a bottle but I had to talk to a representative to do it. Their online ordering system would not accept my address. And it’s not my first order with them. At least I got a bottle.
Could someone please either explain what you use it for, or point me to a previous discussion of that subject?
Is this new product the same formulation as in the past or is this something using the name with or without the permission of the owner? I ask because the label is different and the photo Wizard shows is posed to only show VERDI and Chem with no mention of ReActT2 (whatever that is) as before. These days it is considered a good business practice to buy a trademark and ruin a product. In all honesty I would have felt better if the maker of the product had posted here before Wizard came into the picture. I still have half a bottle from the past because I never used it as a soak and go out of my way to avoid buying coins that needed it. Those with before and after experience need to post reviews. OH! He did. I only read Ancients section and that rather lightly. He posted in CoinChat: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/verdicare.386427/page-4#post-8238061
Thanks. Now that I know what it's for, I ordered a bottle. I have a couple of coins with green spots I'd like to treat. That thread serves as a salutary reminder of exactly why it is that I never, ever stray out of the Ancient Coins (and occasionally the World Coins) forums.
Thanks for the heads up! I ordered a bottle yesterday. Actually, when I first saw the name Verdicare, I thought it was for a rest home for retired Italian opera composers. Just goes to show how imagination can run wild....
Actually, his name in English could be Joe Green, at the extremely informal level, but I doubt that he would have appreciated that, who knows!
