"Sounds like the premise of the show was to make people believe that the price of gold is being controlled by a higher power!"

One night I was channel surfer and came across one of their shows. While it was being broadcast I was Googling their statements. Very less than credible.

I can't wait. I'm laughing now. Cooking dinner with a smile. BBQ steak, fresh home grown potatoes and fresh home grown acorn squash. I'm hungry now.

OK, I will - The female figure of Liberty in that sexy flowing robe on the 1907 gold high relief $20 gold piece is pretty hot
and young Winged Victory w/ her exposed firm breasts on the gold Mexican Libertad really gets my juices moving.
    Sorry, gotta go. . . .

Silver has gone up 6x in value over those 20 years but we still constantly hear that it's being held down.

I Always wonder if people ever take time from their "I bought loads at the bottom" claims to stop and ponder just how bad of an investment a 260% gain over 21 years really is.

Just read that the second episode presents Alex Jones as a credible expert...oh well, back to Egyptian pyramids for me...

    260% return? I'll stick w/ tech investing.

For example, on 6/5/13, 250shrs AMD @3.979($996.00) is worth $19,435 today. A $1,000 invested in Microsoft at its IPO 3/86 is worth around $2,160,000 today one of apple's stock splits was 17-1 I bought digit turbine APPS on 5/1/20 as of Friday it's up 336% bought NNOX 8/28/20 @ $26.34 it on Friday it closed $64.19.

I think the data came from "Ancient Aliens."
    :D

The show sounds like it was cooked up by people with very little financial literacy.

That's a 9% rate of return over 20 years, which is OUTSTANDING for a commodity that doesn't produce interest/dividends.

However, the starting and ending time periods are classic data-mining. Rolling time periods eliminate timing bias.

You really need some time away from TV and onto Youtube for a dose of Reality. Gold price has been Manipulated since 1972. Heavily Manipulated since 1995. JP Morgan does most of it. They use Silver as the controlling mechanic MOSTLY. Both have Future trading ability. Thus, control the future price, control THE PRICE.
Watch Jim Rickards, Nomi Prins, Peter Schiff, Andy Schetchman, and a host of others. Mike Maloney has a great 7 part series on how the FED works to control the finance system, which controls banks, which controls FIAT Money.

Put it this way, for all the money that has been printed, if GOLD were to have its TRUE value, it would be North of 20k/oz.
Now, a stock trader, or guy who wants your money for himself while telling you he is there to help you, would say, the GOLD Price is what it is today. Of course that helps his angle of you NEED more stock which he makes money from.

Just know, the guy in the suit, clean shaven, great handshake and clean cut who talks so well is more crooked than the bum on a corner that wants a dollar for a beer.

JP Morgan was just found guilty of the price fixing. Paying a fine of 800M. That is maybe 1% of the total money they made over all the years on fixing, controlling, keeping the avg. citizen thinking fiat PAPER is real money. It isnt ! We are in the midst of a huge change, one where the Central Banks will use a digital currency and do away with the paper dollar.
I wonder what a 55 double die is worth once there is no USA currency ?

Yet, if it is silver or Gold it will have value. What the Banks try to do controlling the people will only last so long. You can see the hollowing out of the country before your eyes today. Jobs, benefits, pay rate all suck for the avg person. We went from one job to support a whole family and live great in early 80s to today where 2 jobs and overtime isnt enough to pay the bills.

Watch out below, no one wants to admit, or acknowledge it because THEY, the ones still posting here are doing great from their retirement, or well paying job. They love, or maybe it is just instinct that drives them to IGNORE all the poor people. Their Cousin who they dont talk too anymore is just a BUM because he didnt do as well as they did.

There are a lot of "articles" out there from places selling PMs always stating the price of gold is being held low by < fill in the blank > and how it should be worth much more.

I guess Supply and Demand over multiple Global Markets isn't one of them.

Where in the world did this come from??? If you search the Internet some I'm sure you'll find a group appropriate for your post.
    Have a great day.
