So, did you convert that silver to Bitcoin a couple of years ago instead of sending it to @Garlicus after he paid you for it? Or did you just put @Garlicus's money into Bitcoin? If the latter, I imagine @Garlicus might be willing to accept whatever amount of BTC his hundred-odd dollars bought you back then.

BitCoins require a small hard drive. BitCoins have not met their fair market value even though it is 10x the price as it was a few months ago.

 

Silver will be in the buy range before long.

I've also seen those Bitcoin ATMs in real life. At a gas station I frequent, the clerk was trying to talk a woman out of using it to send $10,000 to a "relative" of hers with a medical emergency while travelling in the UK. Very scary, this dystopian future that we live in.

Yep a 7 year April fool's joke and the joke ends up being on the silver crowd yet again. The silver crowd is so busy putting down other investment vehicles that they can't see that silver is the joke. All the hype and what is it down since this thread started ? 40%, 50%, or 60%?

 

In 2013, silver was around $25/ ounce. So, about 30% (made worse by insurance/security/storage costs).

I haven't looked at Bitcoin prices recently. What has its performance been like over the last 7 years?
