I hear it's not good to put that metal next to other metals like gold or silver.. Is this true? And also, is it worth investing in a few bars just to have? I know an ebayer is selling a few bricks of zinc on the cheap.. Not sure if I should get any or stay away..

if you wish to buy industrial metals buy them in paper form, how wants 50 zinc or copper bricks laying around , zinc is currently at 1USD per lbs ? Why not invest in iron and keep old junkers on your front lawn ?

As for damaging your gold or silver that is false.

I wouldn't think it would be a problem at all. In fact, zinc is used in industry as a sacrificial metal. They place it around other metals because it will prevent others from being corroded through it's own destruction.

Think of a galvanized nail. ;)

As for investing in it...I have no idea.

...... BNB I dont know why cheap is good to you... for me I would want to invest in the most dense/ high value product possible.... or close to it... like gold, plat, etc. Easy to sell, easy to mail, easy to keep. sure you could invest in lead, but when it comes time to sell it how do you ship that, or even transport high $$ amount
