My friend! If we were not that close before, we sure are now. When are we going on vacation? Seriously, nice paper!
The sad part is that the 50 trillion dollars when exchanged for US dollars is about twenty cents. The pile of rocks pictured on the note is worth more than the note itself! Nice looking paper, though, I dig it.
I also have a series of these notes with the 100 Trillion. These are just the most recent manifestation of the Weimar Marks. I love the water buffalo on the back. In fact, mine are a little different. I have 500 Million, a One Billion, a Ten Trillion, a Fifty Trillion and the 100 Trillion. Wow. Inflation is a curse.
Nice 100 trillion note. I think these Zimbabwe banknotes, with all the long lists of zeros, are visually more stunning than the high denomination Weimar Marks. The Weimar notes just have the word "Billionen" printed instead. On the other hand, it surely is more functional to read "Billionen" in daily transactions, instead of counting zeros.
I wonder what the American Dollar will look like after we pump in Trillions and Trillions of dollars printed out of thin air. Any guess's?
Say what you want, but the United States dollar is the global leader with notes printed over 160 years ago still being legal tender.
Totally agree. If the US Dollar collapses...so does the world economy. So, I think we’d have bigger problems.
I wanted to buy one of these at FUN but in graded PMG 69 or 70 condition, they are pretty pricey. Most of the dealers wanted to sell you a roll of like 100 notes. I just wanted one !!
it is crazy times now and looks to be getting worse. I suppose you can't say much with any certainty at all.
