Looking at a quality photograph of a coin on a large monitor accentuates the flaws & reveals what you may have missed with your naked eye or even using a 10 X lupe. I've bought many coins & after photographing them & viewing them on a large screen asked myself, why did you buy that ? Then I'd view the coin in hand or using a 7 X lupe & say, that's why I bought it . When I was a beginner collector finding the near perfect or high grade coin wasn't important, but as I grew older it was. Then I'd view the coin in hand or using a 7 X lupe & say, that's why I bought it :D.
