Your thoughts on this Morgan?

Picked this up from the LCS today. Its weight is slightly light, at 26.49g but all other tests spot on. Appears cleaned. Opinions appreciated.

looks harshly cleaned. wait for other opinions...

 

It is, unfortunately, so harshly brushed that device details have been blurred. It'd be tough to actually authenticate it in this condition.

I dunno......that eagle head (reverse) looks funky to me.

 

Scotch-Brite victim. Worth melt.

 

Your head would look funky, too, if you washed your face with a bench grinder.

 

Did that once........on a bet......hurt like the devil.

 

I would stay away from this one.Too light in weight, should be 26.73. Surface is too clean. The cleaning would cover up the surface, so to ID the truth of the coin.

 

You owe me a keyboard. And half a bottle of Gatorade.

 

Kripes Dave, it's way after 5PM........one needs something a wee bit stronger. Sorry about the keyboard.... the wife's blew up a month ago when she spilled some wine upon it...........had to get the old girl a new compu machine. This spitting up/throwing up thing is getting expensive.

 

Nah, gotta get up too early in the morning. @messydesk seems to know when I'm in need of a nasal wash, though - this is not the first time he's done this to me.

 

I have a dishwasher safe keyboard that I rescued from a discard pile that I'm not using. Works fine. USB cable is quite short, so it would need an extension. Interested?

 

If I keep on reading your posts I'm gonna need a dishwasher-safe keyboard, that's for sure.

I should add that the cleaned surfaces will be gracefully wearing down in my pocket.

 

You can always sell it on EBay as "A very clean early Morgan. With great details!" for $35.

 

It looks slightly cleaned to death.

 

Harshly cleaned with an abrasive.

 

Memorize what that Morgan looks like. Then avoid similar ones.
