I can't even imagine what it is like. I didn't mean to imply that soldiers liked going off to war. I'm sorry if I offended you or anyone else with that comment. It really was not my intent. I have nothing but love and respect for anyone willing to fight for the freedoms that I enjoy everyday. I just wish that war was no longer necessary and our military could enjoy the freedoms that they so bravely provided.

No offense taken... I just thought I would give a soldier's point of view. :smile

Well, time is getting short before I am (unofficially) off to that Central Asian 'paradise' [IMG] called Afghanistan... This will be the LAST time Uncle Sam sends me to the 'sand box!'
I sent about 100 coins on consignment to
Great Collections and they are now live for bidding. I have also added about 30 new items to my eCrater store. *See the store link below. ;)
Thank you all for your support. :hail: I will try to check in from time to time... it all depends on what the circumstances are on the ground. :thumb:

I have an 1883 morgan dollar. It isnt worn at all, but the silver is grey. My friend, however, has an error. Its a quarter printed on a nickel.

Yet, being Liberal means a person has the intelligence, foresight and fortitude to reject the status quo. Thomas Jefferson was so LIBERAL he would have been hung. And Jesus was so LIBERAL, he got crucified ! Edison was LIBERAL. So I only see positive things when a person is labeled as such. Conservatives, happy with the status quo, are not as suited for greatness. There thinking is too confined. Liberals always look for a better way, while conservatives fear change. To paraphrase Darwin, survival belongs not to the strongest or swiftest, but that which is most readily accepting of change.

    Off subject, sorry !

Pretty cool, same goes for me. But its 1879 cc, well worn Morgan, that was also handed down from gramps, dad, to me.

This thread has been all over the place! (And, typically, I'm late to the party.) And what would a thread be without redwin's 11¢ error?

To continue off-subject, your comment made me think of this, one of my favorite quotes:

"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man." –George Bernard Shaw

Thank heavens for everybody; we all play a part.

Yeah that's me..........I always accept change. Especially the silver kind. Didn't know Darwin was a numismatist too.

I have an 1861 half in an old MS63 NGC holder I picked up a while back. I saw what that coins goes for recently and was shocked because it was several times what I paid, plus I suspect I could even resubmit for a higher grade.
