JDS--Great buy! I can't tell from the photo angle and distance if I should agree or not with the MS 67 grade, but that IS a beautiful coin.

Very nice! I like the reddish highlights on the obverse. Appears to be very original. Do you have the TT photos for comparison? Just curious... I know whose photos are better!

here is an 1828 curl base 2 bust half I just received in the mail... 2 of the images are tilted to show the iridescent toning.. head on photos make it look really flat...

Nice half. Have you attributed it?

Thanks, Mark, glad you like it. No, I haven't attributed it; I don't own any of the books. I'm just building a date set of them, trying to find nice-looking circulated examples. Of course, I would be happy to know the O-#, if someone can come up with that.

It's been a while since I have purchased a coin, but that will change at the Portland, OR coinshow this month (anyone here going?). This is my most recent purchase I got 1941 one cent with straight clip:eat:

Nice incomplete planchet Cent. Even has the blakesley effect on the Obverse. My newest coin I've received is a box of LP-3 Cents. I haven't looked at any yet.

Thanks, C.C. The images from TT aren't as bad as I expected, you can see the dirt and the color, if a bit washed out. I'm never sure about their gold images, but in this case I would have been reasonably confident it wasn't dipped, etc.
