Mine has to be the 2001 £2 from Gibraltar featuring standing Britannia with the castle and key on the shield and the flag flying as a cape behind her. Just goes to show how patriotic the gibraltairians are !

My favorite (well, one of them) is on the left - my avatar is an Italian €1 coin. Shows Michelangelo's "Vitruvian Man" ...

The 2003 Canada 2-dollar is one of my favorites. :) I've got several of them & I'm sorry to post such a terrible photo. If the photos I previously posted at CT were still available in a galery, then I would be able to post a much nicer photo here.

The Great Britain model penny is basically a small silver 1 pence in a larger copper ring. They were made in the mid-1800s.

I wanted to post one of my Great Britain model penny coins in this thread. Unfortunately, all my photos that I had archived at CoinTalk are apparently no longer available for me to post from the CoinTalk gallery. I tried searching CoinTalk for one of the previous threads where one of my model penny coins may have been posted. That search was unsuccessful. The bottom line is, I cannot post one of my bi-medal model penny coins in this thread. Here is a link to some stock photos on the Internet:

I hope some will follow the link. The Great Britain model penny is an interesting coin.

BTW, I don't recommend anyone searching the Internet for "Model Penny". There are several female models with the name Penny & your search probably won't result in finding examples of the Great Britain model penny coin.
